Heh, doesn't the boy look really cheeky in this pose? And he wasn't posing for the camera..he's actually trying to learn how to press the frets on the guitar according to the instructions shown on TV. Yeah, this is my Christmas gift for moi-self..Guitar Hero III! Saw it while gallivanting at Far East Plaza and just couldn't resist it! The boy, as usual couldn't wait to get his hands on it too but I guess it will take a while for him to learn how to play the game. But more importantly, the mommy must master it first!! :)


Yeah, late post but oh well, better late than never. We'd spent New Year's Eve at Irene 's hotel room at Fairmont (formerly Raffles The Plaza) as it had a great view of the Esplanade which meant that we would be able to catch the fireworks at Marina Bay from there. Irene was in Singapore for a few days before making her way to Surabaya. Had a scrumptious dinner with her at Kuriya and I kinda over-ordered so we stuffed ourselves crazy with sashimi and sushi! Trishand Glen joined us at the hotel later. Hub was out having drinks with his colleagues at St James Power Station and I was relieved that he was able to make it to the hotel, in spite of the huge jam at Vivocity and the town area. And boy, was the view fantastic! Aidan, who'd always enjoyed fireworks was so excited and kept yelling "Happy New Year!" at the top of his lungs!
