weeteck asked me whether Aidan was able to help out for his next TNP GSS Supplement. Asked Aidan whether he was keen and he said yes. Vivienne, one of the last year New Face finalist was roped in to be the 'mother' and he also got 2 other girls, Celine and Yi Xiu (who are reigning title holders of the Little Miss Singapore Cinderellas pageant) to be his 'sisters'. The boy had always enjoyed coming to my office. Understandably so because my colleagues always dote on him so much, giving him sweets and telling him how cute/handsome/cheeky he is...Oh well, I guess he can only be cute for at most 2 more years so he's probably trying to milk it as much as he can :P


He did have a good time and the shoot went really well. Helped that the girl, Yi Xiu, he was holding hands with was just as active and cheerful as he was. I was speaking to Yi Xiu's (who's 8 years old btw) mom and she was telling me that her daughter has been taking part in pageants since she was 4. Yi Xiu was telling me proudly about the competitions she'd won and the ones she's looking forward to taking part during the June holidays. For her age, I have to say that she's really confident and probably enjoys the attention and being able to be dressed in pretty frocks and beautifully made-up. I guess beauty pageants can be good for a child's self esteem too, as long as the kid does have fun and the parents don't get overly stressed and intense about it.

Can't wait to see the actual pics, which should be in the paper next month.

Aidan did a shoot for the TNP GSS supplement in 2006. Was looking at those pics and realised Aidan hasn't really changed much looks wise in the last 2 years. He's also still as affectionate and lovable and the main reason why I'm able to remain sane and strong during this period :)
