Aidan is down with a cold..He either caught it from me 'coz I had stuffy/runny nose for a while and had been coughing on and off since a few days back..Or it could be becuz of the horrendous weather during the weekend...he got a li' wet on Saturday even tho we were using the brolly, coz the wind was so strong.
He does have a slight cough since yesterday night and his nose has been pretty runny and is obviously quite stuck coz he was snoring really loud early this morning. What's worse than being in bed with a snoring husband? Being in bed with a snoring husband AND snoring kid *weep*..
Had to send one of them to kiss the couch so that I can have some shut-eye and peace so hubby was kicked outta the room..But Aidan woke up quite often so I wasn't able to sleep well. I think he was having problems breathing properly because he was using the pacifier and his nose passage was stuck..Even when he was nursing, he'll stopped, looked up at me woefully, take large gulps of air and then continued to suckle. Very cham..
Behavior wise, he's fine...just slightly grouchy which is inevitable for someone down with a cold. His appetite is still hearty and he's just as michevious as ever. Will be bringing him to the paed to get some meds for his runny nose and just in case his cough gets any worser.
The weekend was jam packed with activities as usual..It was ashleyneo's li' girl Tiffany's 1 year old birthday celebration on Saturday. Will let Ashley post the pics I took.
But these pics..I must show..I couldn't stop laughing because ..well, here's the reason.
This is Tiffany's cute li' 'girly' cake
Ashley performing brain surgery while Tiff looks on :P
(she couldnt stop laughin as she was cutting the cake)
The poor li' girl's feet and arms have been amputated...(they sure were tasty *slurp*)
I dunno man but i swear the smile looks pretty evil ..
Almost everyone was giggling at the sight of the poor cake after it has been cut. Makes me relieved that I didn't order the teddy cake for Aidan or else the kids at the party would have been traumatised by a cut-up teddybear.
Did the flea market thingy again yesterday with Jean and Trish flipover..Initially, when I heard that our booth was situated upstairs, in one corner of the 2nd floor, I was thinkin kuakua liao..sure no business. But then, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. It was raining cats and dogs at Clark Quay and those booths outside had to cover their wares with plastic sheets to prevent them from getting wet and of coz the traffic was low. There were more people in the building itself so we actually had some business.
I made abt 99 bucks after covering the overheads (rental and lunch :P)..And then promptly spent it all on a massage and a crab dinner in the evening hehe..All in a day's work and play :)
