tiredWe spent CNY eve's playing mahjong with frens who came to our place after all of us had our reunion dinner with families. Hubby and I took turns playing - he played the first game & I, the second. Hubby played MechWarrior on the puter when I was playing. The game ended at about 4am in the morning (won a miserly $30 bucks bah!). Dear Aidan was sleeping throughout the game and only decided to wake up abt 4 plus, after everyone has left and when we wanted to go to bed. In the end, both of us did not sleep much , as we took turns trying to make Aidan zzz. Hubby couldn't tahan already & konked off at abt 6am and I'd only managed to get Aidan to sleep at abt 7:30am. We were supposed to be at YC's parents place at 9:30am and not surprising, we were late getting to their place..Woke up at about 9:15 and managed to change, bath Aidan and got to their place at 10:30am..
Wah..I could hardly keep my eyes open during the visits..Thankfully, Aidan was pretty gwai (hmm..he seemed to be so quiet whenever there's lotsa pple ard) so I didn't have a hard time carrying him about..Unfortunately, when we got home in the afternoon, it was a totally different story *sob*..We were both badly in need of some koontime & was tryng so desperately to make hm sleep..we usually are able to rock him to sleep pretty easily but once we attempted to place him in the cot, he'll just wakes up and start wailing away. In the end, I'd decided to soothe him by breastfeeding him in the masterbedroom bed and letting him fall asleep on me. I ended up sleeping with my upper body in an upright position with all the pillows propped up behind me. Hubby then managed to get some peaceful sleep too. Ouch, my back is aching man!!
Just managed to put Aidan into bed after his night feed *phew*..Another long day tomorrow ~
