Aidan is having his school holidays now. Unlike his previous nursery where classes are held all throughout the year with only a few days break a year, Kinderland follows the same holiday breaks as the moe schools.
So, I cleared some leave per week so that I could spend some time with him. I have to admit, I kinda enjoy my 'partial' sahm-ness because I know it isn't permanent. There are days when I simply nua with him at home, watching tv and doing silly stuff like playing hide and seek and pretending to be his fave superhero characters. Also took him to see some of the mall shows which I thought he would enjoy - eg. Barney, Power Rangers SPD...Got Mong, Jean & June to loan me their kids so that he would have some friends to play with during this time too. Thankfully he still has his swimming and art classes. I was only around to witness his first 2 swimming lessons and after about 10 lessons, he has shown so much improvement. He can now swim without floats, tread water and breathe underwater. Felt so proud to see how well he was doing. So the next thing he has to do is to teach his au-tak mommy how to swim. Damn lao-kwee man..

Been busy preparing for his birthday party and also our annual X'mas gathering. Have finally bought all the items for the bday goody bags and finalised the menu for the xmas dinner. Am trying trying out Miss Clarity Cafe X'mas menu this year...The food looks good man..roast beef, oxtail stew, crispy pork knuckles *slurp*.
Am on leave today and tomorrow. Will be checking into Rasa Sentosa at 3pm and will be there till Saturday. Just hoping that the weather would be kind! And I've also booked the family for a cruise to Malacca/KL at the end of the year! My first time on a cruise ship too *ultra suaku*! Man..I'm really in a holiday mood. How to concentrate at work?!
He's turning 4 soon...he's growing up way toooo fast!

It's been almost 4 years since Aidan came into our lives. He has indeed been a blessing and brought so much joy to us! I've learnt so much from him....one of which is to love unconditionally. I've always said this..the boy has taught me the true depth on how much I can love someone and that feeling can be truly quite overwhelming. I can never forget that moment I held him in my arms for the first time and the emotions of love and protectiveness I suddenly felt. I've also learnt to be a more responsible person, to not to sweat over little things and be more tolerant and accept that things will sometimes go awry..he has made me appreciate the little things in life..there is that joy of watching him grow and learn new things and that feeling of pride when I witness his achievements [from learning to crawl/walk to being able to swim =)]. He has made me laugh so much with his silly antics and the darndest things that comes out from his mouth.. But I've also began to fear more...I constantly wonder whether we are raising him up correctly and what lies ahead of his life..
And Aidan has constantly taken by breath away and I know there are many more such moments to come.:)
Just a reminder for those who has rsvped yes for Aidan's party..it's this Sunday from 11.30am onwards! See you there! Remember to come with an empty stomach!!
