I want to get the blue soft bunny jacket for Aidan...So cute!! Darn, they don't deliver to Singapore. Will email them and check if they can, since they do deliver to Japan, Australia and NZ. Arghh..yeah yeah, I'm spoiling that li' bugger!!

Today, while sitting by the jacuzzi pool, I saw this old lady who was swimming there with her granddaughter. The lady started chatting with me and enquiring abt Aidan. I then asked her how old her granddaughter was..She said the latter was 4 yrs old. To my surprise, the little girl turned to her grandma, gave her a black face and screamed "I'm five years old!!"..and she started throwing a huge tantrum, splashing water into her grandma's face and screaming "Why you say I'm 4 years old! I'm 5!"..I was like..wah..and said to the lady, "err..she is quite naughty eh!"..and guess what..that little girl turned around to me and screamed "Shut up!" and started splashing water at me. And she continued to scream and scream (!!). The old lady apologized to me and took her squirming and wailing granddaughter out of the jacuzzi pool while giving me the 'bopien' look. She took her to the side of the pool, and asked her to swim with her. The girl refused and continued with her wilfulness. The ol' lady then swam by herself and the girl just stayed at the side of the pool screaming her lungs out. I decided to leave then..and even when I was on the 2nd floor, I could hear the girl's scream. Sheesh! Oh..and this li' girl has a baby brother who is 6 months old. Her grandfather was walking the baby in the stroller..The grandmother told me that the little girl was even naughtier before the brother was born! Gawd! She must have been a terror if she had been worse than what she was today!

Aidan was sleeping through it all, in my arms. I whispered to him "Please please, don't turn out like that brat!". Aidan stirred a little, gave a li' smile & a stretch and continued sleeping...

Hmm..yeah the hat is kinda big for him.

That's one helluva vicious 5 (NOT FOUR! WHY YOU SAY FOUR!) year old kid... I like to term such children "Hellspawn", because, well, you gotta call a spade a spade...

Children like this should be slapped silly, IMHO. >_<

A result of too much pampering, no doubt... And reminds me of my nephew. Grrrr.

Yeah..I agree.
I wanted to add that I pited the parents ..but I thought for a while n sorta feel that the parents must have bear some blame if they did not control/discipline the child well enough..If she can scream n yell at her grandma, I'm sure she's the same with her parents!
Sheesh, I can still remember her face..all contorted up and yelling away.
But u know..I still believe in nature over nuture..(nuture a bit lah but not totally).

omg, your baby is really adorable! and he looks so comfy in that picture i'm kinda envious! =] btw, if they do not deliver, ya can try getting them to send to your friends in US, Australia or wherever, and ask your friends to mail it to ya. at least that's what i always do! i doubt companies give up chances of making more money tho!

Thanks for the compliments :]..He loves to pose for pictures actually..sometimes, I want to take those spontaneous pics but when he realise I have the camera, he'll just look straight into the lenses :P..
Hmm actually, why din I think of that????(!)..My sis is in Australia somemore..heh..thanks thanks!

i think it's kinda cool that he poses for the cam, cos it's really tough taking pictures of kids and toddlers cos they move so quickly! it's my pleasure to help! =)

OMG. That little girl is a terror! Mustn't spare the rod and spoil the child huh. I'm terribly afraid of seeing such children wailing in shopping malls, restaurants, or even on public transport. Bad kids should be locked at home til they know how to behave. *muahahaha*

Looks like a little dress he's wearing! Or a swimsuit... Uhhmm...

Sometimes, there is a reason why children cry and u can't always brand them a terror if they do so..BUT in this case, this child was really a brat! I can't believe how she treated her grandma and she's at the age where she should understand what is right n wrong already.

He's wearing an overall..yeah, I thought it looked like those old-fashioned swimsuit too. Pretty appropriate wear since I was bringing him down to the pool-side :)

I can't stand kids who are so spoilt, and cry when they don't get what they want. Tsk-tsk!

I met some friends for dinner: one of them's married and has a little son (17 months) and he was wearing the same swim-suit top!! And they had gone swimming this afternoon! What a coincidence, or was that outfit really meant for swim kids? :)

have read the words yet, just have read the caption of the photo.

yeah la, i found all those baby's hat are so big for infant. Mom and i tried looking for one for B when she is discharged (as it's still quite cold in hk a few days back), but all we could find are very big ones.

Yeah..I bought lotsa hats/caps for Aidan and he doesn't fit into any of them! Well, helps that he doesn't like to wear them too :P~

Eh..but u will find out that it's so fun to buy clothes for the baby..especially little girls. Their dresses are usually so pretty!!!
Mar. 14th, 2003 02:32 am (UTC)
my sister hasn't bought any. Instead she uses those donated by her colleagues. (including all those you see my mom has washed in my photo posted in one my previous entry). Since she has worked in her company for quite a long time and there had been a lot of women getting pregnant the year through.

She got all those baby stuff (clothing/ bottles/ bottle steriliser, etc) and her pregnant women clothing all from this source. In fact, they are recycling everything, haha...They (my sister and her colleagues) all think it's not that important (ie. not very keen on dressing the baby up nicely) as the baby will grow pretty fast and the clothes would be of no use after months, unless you are planning to collect those clothings for the baby and to show the child the cute clothes someday when the child has grown up.

and my sister's motto is "if i have money, i'd rather save the money for her education la"...and you know, everything in hongkong is quite expensive. :)
