At least Aidan's better at posing for pictures now! But the boy has actually lost some weight in the past year. Look at how sharp his chin is now. And it's not that he hasn't been eating! He has a voracious appetite and can eat more than some adults at times. Guess he is just using up more energy since he is more active now...
I wasn't around as I was at work. This apparently transpired when the kids were over at my place on Thursday, after their swimming lessons. Alison had been there since morning and when I checked on them at noon, they were apparently playing very well together. But this was what June & her hub, Gordon told me they'd witnessed in the afternoon.
Scene 1 :
June had passed to Alison a pack of fairy stickers.
Aidan : Can I have some of your stickers?
Alison : No!
Aidan walked off in a huff
Scene 2 :
Nenita was giving out icecream. There was only one with strawberry flavour!
Alison : I like strawberry icecream!
Aidan : Me too!
He then quickly grabbed that coveted icecream and ran upstairs, much to Alison's dismay.
Nicholas (his schoolmate who is also taking swimming with them) : I like strawberry icecream too
Aidan : Okay, we share!
Alison looking on angrily at the boys sharing the icecream.
Scene 3 :
She then confronted Aidan.
Alison : I'm so not going to your birthday party!!
Aidan : And I'm not inviting you!
Aidan then ran off, making Alison even more mad!
I was totally flabberghasted when I heard about this from June. Nenita had told me that the kids got along swimmingly well that day and this apparently took place when she was preparing dinner so she wasn't aware. I still can't believe that Aidan actually spoke back to Alison that way! He's usually so easy going! And the two of them were so 'lovey-dovey' in the earlier part of the day.
Aidan & Alison, during happier times :p
