shag dog~

Dad called me up this morning..and said.."Eh, just wanted to ask you..why are u so fat? U weren't that fat the last time I saw you!"

*Arghhh*..And was chatting with sis on MSN messenger this morning and she was giving more all kinds of advice to lose weight ..saying that order to ensure that my marriage stays 'alive' & healthy so that I must strive to be constantly attractive looking to my hubby..bah! Eh, wonder whether this should also apply to the other half in the marriage too coz most of the time, the hubbies are the one whose girth expands horizontally ...

Anyway , my ego had just taken a beating and methinks that I should really start dieting soon man..*sob*..flipover, meganmacy, what's that diet you guys were talking about?

Hmm..look who's in bed with Aidan :P~

Several LJ mummies (meganmacy with Megan & Macy and her mom, flipover with Elliot & Ethan , ashleyneo with Tiffany, chayhm with OCA , happyqile with Qile , loongkids with Zach & Jasper ) , my neighbour Rachel & Ryan and pinkmelonhugs came over to my place for some taitai tea session/baby bonding time and also to let their kids use the condo swimming pool..There was a total of 7 babies and 4 kids above 2 yr old in the house and my place has never been THAT NOISY before! too tired to update abt it now..will do so tomorrow....

Edited :

I'd actually fell asleep while sitting on the bed drying my hair after a nice long shower. Shows how exhausted I was..[am still wondering why I was so tired!]

The original plan was to have the mummies come over to :
1) Have tea/snacks
2) Try out the nursing apparels from IWantMilks [who actually does home service]
3) Bring our babies/kids for a swim

Didn't realise that this was harder than planned. I should have known that it was impossible to expect everyone to be able to sit down prettily to have tea and tcss when everyone has at least one baby/kid with them. We had kids screaming and playing tag in the living room, and we had babies singing in harmony in the master bedroom. The memory of this alone is causing me to think twice about having a second one! pinkmelonhugs was a blessing, helping us carry and sayanging the babies while each mummy took turns to try out the clothes/makan/catch a breathe!

In order to lower the noise decibel, I suggested having the older kids go down to the pool first and so they did..excitably so~ And the apartment suddenly became soooooo quiet..So peaceful and calm that all the babies were beginning to feel drowsy/sleepy so our other plan of getting them down to the swimming pool too went kaput as one by one the babies started nodding off to dreamland.. was great to have met all the mummies again, especially meganmacy, who will be going over to HK soon *sob*..pinkmelonhugs should think of a career in childcare..She was brilliant. When the kids destroyed my ABC mat which I've laid out on the floor for Aidan, she called out to them, in her best nursery teacher voice and suggested a game of putting the ABC mats together again~~ (which worked really well)..she was great with the babies too, helping to baobao all of them. I bet her arms are aching terribly now :P~

And yes, flipover's maid was fantastic. She'd actually cleaned up my place (swiftly but silently), when we were all in the room nursing and patting our babies to sleep. Thanks Sri..!

Well, it was an experience indeed..not sure whether I'll attempt it again though *grin*..

Some of Today's Pics

We thought that Aidan & Trish's Elliot looked a li' alike..especially their rounded heads!
