Boy, you trust Aidan with such a hugh pc of babybite. I always have this paranoia that they will choke on it. In fact, that's what happened to Ashley during her early teething days. She greedily swallowed a big pc of biscuit which we allowed her to hold onto herself. Till now, I tend to break up the babybites to small pcs before handing them to her.
Jun. 17th, 2003 06:20 pm (UTC)
Surprisingly, Aidan nibbles slowly at the biscuit instead of greedily chomping on it (that's how he eats his cereal)..Usually, I'll sorta 'guide' him while he eats so that there isnt a risk of him choking. He will usually end up breaking the biscuit himself so I'll just let him continue nibbling on the half of the biscuit he's holding :)

tempting buys..
Ooh online shopping is good! No need for hustle-bustle and enduring the crowd in shopping malls..

Thinking of comestic plastic surgery doesn't mean you're vain.. It's only natural everyone wants to look good what. Although I wish I'm a little taller, I wouldn't ever want to endure that sort of pain people go through to stick steel in their ankles and the pulling so that there's a chance of growing taller. Imagine the pain!!
Jun. 17th, 2003 07:42 pm (UTC)
Re: tempting buys..
but problem abt retail online shoppin is tt u can never try the clothes on to see how it looks on u..Local shops easy to return but those overseas..headache man.

Yeah...those surgery to make pple grow taller looks really painful..and most of them end up not being able to walk properly and do sporty activities..nah, would rather remain short ..
Jun. 17th, 2003 08:25 pm (UTC)
i dunno if it's works? but alot of girlies fm a local forum promise it's work.. Have enquire abt it at OTC, am still considering it...hehe.. oh ya and those reduce tummy thingy, my co-ord. tells me it's work and me just started recently.. :)
Jun. 17th, 2003 10:31 pm (UTC)
Which product are these? And which forum *curious*..

Sometimes, some of these products have those ingredients that makes the skin 'heaty' so that it feels more 'engorged' thus givin the impression that the boobs are bigger (I din try it..I read abt this hehe)

Most of the reduced tummy thingy have to be used along with exercise..and well, if u jus exercise, the tummy would reduce considerably already heh..

but plastic surgery on face usually not one-take, i guess. I watch some tv program before that the face usually look different because something is done on A part in the face. So another B part has to be fine tuned again because of the change in part A....(say eye got stretched due to the addition of nose bridge, so the eyes have to be "corrected" then)

about big breasts, I think it doesn't really that matter, right? Many people are 32A or below in hong kong. And not a one-take surgery too (seems to have to change another bag(?) every ten years or so). And the shape never like the natural one that they always stay there like two bowls and never get distorted (<- :P)...may not really be so nice. And no good to health. And people can easily differentiate the feel of the real and the fake (:P). If it's just for more choices of clothes, this may not be too worthy lor i think...

I think character is more important, this is something that you have. I think you are a happy, optimistic, carefree married female that you really do not have to worry too much about those things.

Hehe...btw, you get a happy happy family already :D
Jun. 18th, 2003 12:58 am (UTC)
Yeah..it was the superficial me talkin in this post. I think I dream alot abt plastic surgery but whether I'll do it is another thing altogether. Plastic surgery is v common in HK tho..esp TVB stars hehe..

Well, some pple go for breast argmentation so as to boost their own ego & confidence too. If it makes one feel more attractive, one will definitely feel more confident in life. I dont have anything agst plastic surgery for sure..unless pple overdo it!

Heh..yeah..I do have a happy family..(but I still wanna look good *grin*)

Oh gosh, I watched this entire documentary once on plastic and corrective surgery. They featured three people, one had a boob job, one had a facelift, and a man who went for lipo for his entire body. The pain that you go through inmmediately after surgery is astonishing.

Miss boob job couldn't brush her teeth or anything that involved her moving her arms for a week cos it hurt so much. (So cannot carry Aidan.)

Mrs Facelift was in bandages for at least a month and they had screws inserted around the entire skull to allow the skin time to grow/recover and adhere in it's new position. This was terribly graphic..they filmed the entire operational procedure which involved snipping the skin at several areas around the skull/scalp, then lifting the skin and SCRAPING the skin away from the skull. (Skin at forehead and other areas are stuck to the bone, so you gotta scrap it to allow for movement). *VERY~ GROSS* And I tell you these doctors are soo NOT gentle. Apparently seperation of skin from bone requires a huge amount of force and effort. *eeewWW*

Mr Liposuction had felt the bruising from the operation even 6 months after his op. He had to wear a full body corset for 2-3 months to prevent his skin from sagging. Lots of restriction and definitely VERY painful. Operation with a metal stick-like apparatus which had a suction tube attached to the end for sucking out the fats that were emulsified by a laser beam attached to the same end. *oohh..fat comes out in bottles and they SHOW you the amount of fat (liquid form) that was sucked out from your bod). This was the worst cos he totally couldn't head back to work due to the various inconveniences.

Ok..I'm so off limits in the length of this entry. Heh.

Btw, all three were satisfied with post-op results despite the pain and suffering but all also agreed that they'll never do it again. I think they totally learnt their lesson. I suppose no amount of painkillers worked in this case.
Jun. 19th, 2003 01:58 am (UTC)
Ok now..that was totally gross arghh!!
But but..how does those hollywood celebs do it then? I mean, they can disappear for like a few weeks/months n tadaa, new nose or no wrinkles/smooth skin. And some of them do it repeatedly..
I read that plastic surgery can be addictive too..like tattooing..coz one's in a constant need to beautify herself/himself..
