Yeah, Little Gym again today..did the same exercises cept that this time round, I had hubby with me so he was the one who got to carry the not-that-light li' one about. Hubby actually said that he was aching 'cause Aidan seemed to be getting heavier n heavier and by the end of the session, he was exhausted (my hubby, not Aidan)..And I had all the time to relax and take numerous pics of the wee one.. We should do this more often :)

Rant....
Why is it that driving brings out the worst in people? Hubby is one of the most laidback, easy going fella I've ever known..Between both of us, I'm the one who's more impulsive and tend to lose my temper more easily though my anger does blow over pretty quickly too. We really don't quarrel/disagree much for a married couple 'coz we are pretty nonchalent abt stuff and let one other have our way most of the time..
But when he's driving, he's a completely different person..He' s so darn aggressive and yaya-papaya on the road!! If someone cuts into his lane (even if they indicate), that fella's in the wrong..if he tries to cut into someone's lane and the other car refuses to budge, the latter is also in the wrong..hmmm.. He always tells me that it's safer to be an aggressive than careful [translate :cowardly] driver coz it prevents accidents more ..somehow, he has managed to get a clean record [no speeding tickets] for the longest time..though how he did it, I really don't know.
When I told him how I felt abt his driving, he claims that it's a well-known theory that people are generally bastards when they are driving..even a cartoon character..and cited the example of Goofy [friend of Mickey Mouse]..He said he saw this on cartoon network before. In that cartoon, Goofy was one heck of a nice guy who wouldn't even step on an ant..but when he is on the road, his personality changes and will start cussing n swearin at drivers/jay walkers who gets in his way..*sigh* I can't believe he is using Goofy as a reason to justify his actions on the wheel~

As for driving, yes it does seem to bring out the worst in people. My hubby's pretty much like yours, in fact I'm very sure he shares the same belief as your hubby - they can do no wrong, when driving on the road. Best part is, he doesn't even bother to indicate when he wants to cut lane! Actually, I'm exactly an angel when I drive too, especially when I'm rushed for time. I'll not hesitate to honk and curse if there' a slow car blocking my way.
Btw, I like the special fx on the photos. May sharing how you did that?
Hmm..honking & cussin if justified I think it's okay..In fact, sometimes, I do help hubby to cuss at an inept driver (eg,a lazy driver who just drives straight when it's a curved road grr)..And usually, it's either a mercs or bmw..(i really have no idea why!)
Okay..for the fx..heh, i did it tru shutterfly.com coz they have a function to 'blur' the edges of the pic. I think there should be someway to do it at photoshop but i have no idea how to..
The light side to it is that ... it brings out the dark side in us! The serious side is that, a car which is a powerful machine. You control it and there is real danger involve if it is not handled well. Thus the sub-conscious would have some amount of fear, which amounts to the heighten pressure in making sure all goes well and no bloody idiots pissed you off! *LOL*
Oh and so far, i have not seen a "peaceful" driver yet :D Coz they all crack sooner or later!!! Bwahahaha!
Does my theory sounds logical to you?
heh..peaceful driver ah? I do know of some drivers who doesn't get that aggravated while drivin tho..
As for Goofy analogy ... erm, art imitates life? Or izzit the other way round. LOL!
As for the analogy..wat do u think *grin*...
i've been told to practice the 20 second rule, and it really works. you just look far enough down the road to sort of predict what's gonna happen in the next 20 seconds so that its early enough to take preventive action if necessary..
I acknowledge that it mus be really stressful while drivin on the road but sometimes, i really marvel at how high-strung he can be while doin so..Seems like everyone is alike ..dun tell me there are no 'good natured' drivers ard?
Aly looks as pretty irl..but I just realised somethin..she's like Aidan..in that they usually have that dao and somewhat sulky/pouty look. I seldom see her smiley mug hee~!
Does he drive as fast with the kids in the car? Sometimes, while in the back seat of the car, I get so dizzy with the 'g-force' ..and he refuses to have the baby-in-car 'sticker' coz he says it lower his value hehe..
Do u drive like that too ah?
Actually, that's what I told hubby yesterday..said I'm okay if we have no cars so I won't need to be that bothered abt his driving..:P
