sitting up unaided :)

Hee..the not-that-wee one sat up on his own today!!

This morning, I was encouraging him to crawl on the ABC mat...the li' bugger moved and squirmed as usual and then, he suddenly propped himself up and sat on his butt! I was like..fwah! So clever heh..I quickly put him on his back..to see if he would do it again and got the camcorder ready..and sure enough, he flipped himself over, started moving forward and voila, sat up on his own again :)

The problem is..he's now sorta too lazy to crawl for long..he'll crawl for a while, sit up, flops his arms about like a mother hen and gazes at me with his watery eyes, expecting me to carry/play with him..*sigh*

Here's a video of him sitting up unaided (both same images)
a) Only 139kb but kinda fuzzy..
b) 1.53mb but much clearer..

Hi there,

Still having problem viewing, have you tried Lastest Window Media Player? It works for me.

Re: Latest Window Media Player?
oh yes. Thank you! now it works! i had to cut and paste the url.

oh one more thing. Does DH refer to your husband? When i saw someone mention "My DH", i thought it was her hubby's initials. Then suddenly i noticed everyone using it, so i was wondering what it stood for. Darling Husband? Dear Husband?

yeah so smart of ya..dh is short for darling husband ..so ds/dd would be darling son/darling daughter..its a shortform term used in the parenting forum..I'm dun use it at all coz I'm not used to it but many of the parents from there use it very frequently..i was blur for a while too..wonder what the Ds meant..

Talking about abbreviation, I was so confused for a while, couldn't even guess what's a WOHM?? SAHM?? sounds so cheam to me man....

Another one is MIL mean mother-in-law, what about SIL? Thought it meant son-in-law, then I realised it's sis-in-law...
