his first lantern :)

Aidan fishing for Nemo..
(yeah, very blur n grainy coz I took it w/out flash)

Bought Aidan a Nemo Lantern from Holland Village, when I was there this afternoon with

bbhome,

koalababy and

sonday for tea at Foster's..It was one of those inflatable type with battery operated lights and cheesy music (tune of 'It's a small world')..Was intending to make the lantern soundless but realise that Aidan was more attracted to it with the music on..so bopienz, no matter how irritating the music is, as long as the wee one likes it, I'll tahan *cringe*..[things we do for our babies hehe]

Actually, this isn't his first lantern..his grandma bought him one small li' one and gave it to him on Sunday but he erm, destroyed it coz it was really flimsy..*sigh*..

And the lantern reminded mi of my childhood. carrying lanterns with my sis around the basketball court. haha. ;)

yeah, it's like sooOoooOoo long ago when we were all carryin lanterns eh..(well, much longer for me tho)..
Nowadays, there r so many diff type of lanterns..i dun recall them havin battery operated lanterns in my days :)

aidan just enjoyed seeing his toy dropped on the floor. so adorable!

i remembered i loved doing that too. throwing things on the floor and burst into laughters. not that i've such gooood memory, but my mum loved to videotape me when i was younger so i've lotsa memories. guess aidan will appreciate that when he gets older!

eh..it's gonna be adorable for the first few times..after a while, this mummy's gonna get frustrated hehe..

Wow..u have videotapes of yourself when young..you should upload some of them in ur journal *grin*..would be great to see them. I guess you had real doting parents who recorded ur every move..I think videocam weren't the in-thing when i was young (Im probably at least a decade older than u) so I only have pics of myself :)

hmm..do u have quicktime or windows media player? They usually work okay with them. Instead of opening the video, do a save as..some pple can view that way instead..

Aiyoh, like that already so happy. Damned cute lah, your Aidan. And I HAVE heard his "bahbahbah" as well as his laughter and I do think he has a very adorable voice. Makes me happy just to hear it.

I couldn't find Erin a Nemo lantern so I bought some pretty paper ones in pastels for her to look at. She reaches out to touch things now but she isn't remotely near holding things yet so I'll just buy the battery kind for her next year.

Erin is abt 3 months now right? She's gonna be so curious abt her surroundings now and startin to wanna feel stuff..Toys are useless now, trust me..mine was only interested in toys at abt 7 months..

U know where Burger King is ..it's along that stretch of shophouses..on the far right. Cant miss it coz there are lotsa lanterns hanging there. :)

Come to think of it..u are kinda right..
He does everythin overly enthusiastically..for eg..when he eats, he eats really excitably ..same for when learnin a new stuff and all..Sometimes, I wish he would be more 'laidback' but i know i really shouldnt complain tho he can be overly hyper at times *awk*
