not too long, not too short..4 years :)

A blading couple :)

Yeah :) It's our 4 years wedding anniversary today! Eh..I'd actually forgotten about it but hubby reminded me yesterday night by kissing me and sayin "Happy 4 Years Anniversary"..I was like eh..'Oops!'...Totally slipped my mind! I was actually thinking more of what to get him for his birthday, which is this coming Tuesday...Awk. I still haven't bought him a present yet!

I got to know him about 5 years ago in Jan 1998..We met at East Coast Park..I was there with a group of friends roller-blading and he was invited by one of those friends to blade too..We weren't really introduced but what happened was that 'coz both of us were the 'fastest' bladers, we ended up being way ahead of the pack..[I was first, he was behind me hehe]..Then I saw some kinda commotion at the beach and stopped..Apparently, someone had drowned while wind-surfing and his body was lying on the sand and the lifeguards/medic were tryin to resussitate him/giving him CPR..He then bladed by and stopped next to me and asked me what happened..and we then started chatting..and continued to do so even after the body was bagged and carted off to the morgue..And that was how we got to know each other ..So in the future, we can tell Aidan that his dad and mom got together coz of a corpse .. Pretty morbid eh!

At that time, both of us were attached..I was actually engaged [ok, long story so I won't elaborate on it] and he had a gf..But by May, both of us were no longer with our partners and we got together about then too :P [no, we didn't cheat on our S/Os then..]..and on New Year Day of 1999, he proposed and on the 8th Oct 1999, we were married at Wesley Methodist Church in the afternoon and had our wedding banquet at Holiday Inn Parkview.. It's been a good 4 years :)

We won't be celebrating it today coz he's going for his laser surgery to mend the punctures in his retina later in the afternoon...He'll need to stay home and rest his eyes..! I wish I have the ability to whip up some good food for him but now, the only stuff I can cook decently is baby food..:P

Here's some of the pics from our wedding album [no scanner so I'd to use my digicam] . I loathed the way I looked in the pics..thought that I was very cheena looking..I had bangs then - those china-doll straight across the forehead type so I look kinda duh!..I must say hubby was rather suave and goodlooking in the pics!

Note my cheesey smile in all the pics..I think my jaw ached like crazy after the photoshoot..
Hmm..do I look that different from the pics here? I thought it was only my hair and of coz, that I weighed like 12kg lighter then..

How about whipping him a good meal?

Hmmm, old wives' tale, no "poisonous" seafood for anyone who just had surgery? E.g. prawn, crabs... etc

You better start planning soon. The logistics and decisions are damn lor-sor.

Now that's a fab anni/bday present!

Get some really pretty/kinky/romantic/sexy lingerie and I'm sure YC will love it more than any birthday gift. Even no glasses also can see!
